Privacy policy.

  1. PERSONAL DATA
    HAIDER | OBEREDER | PILZ Rechtsanwält:innen GmbH, Alser Strasse 21, 1080 Vienna, will only collect, process and use your personal data with your consent or mandate or order for the purposes agreed with you or if there is another legal basis in accordance with the DSGVO; this in compliance with the provisions of data protection and civil law. We only collect personal data that is required for the performance and processing of our legal services or that you have voluntarily provided to us. Personal data are all data that contain individual information about personal or factual circumstances, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number, video recordings, and photos. Sensitive data, such as health data or data related to criminal proceedings, may also be included.

  2. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
    As a data subject, you have the right at any time to obtain information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to rectification, data transmission, objection, restriction of processing and blocking or deletion of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data – subject to the obligation of legal confidentiality. Insofar as there are changes to your personal data, we request that you inform us accordingly. You have the right to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates applicable data protection law or that your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you have the option of complaining to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the competent authority for this is the data protection authority, www.dsb.gv.at.

  3. DATA SECURITY
    Your personal data is protected by suitable and appropriate organizational and technical precautions. These precautions relate in particular to protection against unauthorized, illegal or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain an appropriately high level of due diligence at all times, it cannot be ruled out that information you disclose to us via the Internet may be unlawfully accessed and used by other persons. Please note that we therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g. hacker attack on email accounts or telephone, interception of faxes).

  4. PURPOSE OF THE DATA USE
    We will not process the data provided to us for purposes other than those covered by the mandate agreement or by your consent or otherwise by a purpose covered in accordance with the GDPR.

  5. TRANSMISSION OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
    In order to fulfill your order, it may also be necessary to forward your data to third parties (e.g. the other party, substitutes, insurance companies, service providers that we use and to whom we make data available, etc.) as well as courts or authorities. Your data will be forwarded exclusively on the basis of the GDPR, in particular for the purpose of fulfilling your order or on the basis of your prior consent. Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your personal data are located outside the European Union or the EEA. The level of data protection in other countries may not correspond to that in Austria. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or to recipients that are Privacy Shield certified.

  6. STORAGE OF THE DATA
    We will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations and to defend against any liability claims.
